It was very quiet as its that time of the year. Theres lot of work going on by the seafront walk right now and the footpath is closed. By June it should be back in function and for sure very busy too. The paddling pool was the one that caught my attention which would be perfect for families with young children. Open air, sea view, restaurants close by, amusement park, cinema, toilets, multiple paid car parks and areas very clean. The paintings on the seafront wall are eye catching making the place colourful with a bit of history and heritage. If you like a refuge out of London madness, head out for a 1.15hr drive to Canvey.

It has a very nice sea front and it’s closer to London. It takes only 54 minutes to go there. It can be a short break on Sunday afternoon with your family and kids.

Sports bar is a great place to take our dog for a drink after a walk on Sea wall. Staff are friendly with sensible prices. You can get a meal here as well. There is multiple screens here for sport. If you stay longer you put your car reg on there computer as it's free. Great place highly recommend.

The beach was clean and there are lots of benches to sit on. The beach is not all sandy, its sand mixed with shingle. Ok for walking on, but not great for building sandcastles etc. The adventure park is more for smaller children up to about 5 or 6 years old.
